Got the new Robin Guthrie/Harold Budd soundtrack to Gregg Araki's new film. It's fantastic. It reminds me of a certain afternoon in 1995 when we were filming FRISK when I first met Araki and he couldn't stop laughing at my jokes. I was like, "wow, I am funny. " Ugh, living in San Francisco was a total weather scam... If we actually get a budget for the Boy I wanna have some sick tunes on the soundtrack- it would be fun to have a few of my faves on there.
Anyway- Mysterious Skin actually looks like it might be good. Who wouldnt thunk that?? I don't really like Gregg's movies, Living End I saw on a screener VHS that producer Andrea Sperling left in the condo we were all DESTROYING while filming Jon Moritsugu's Mod Fuck Explosion. It was pretty good. The rest are just crazy namedropping shoe-gazer ads.
Oh well... those were the daze.
